Job Title: Electrician – Repairs and maintenance

Location: Birmingham, UK
Job Type: Full-Time

Monday- Friday- 40 HOURS

Call out hours- 1.5x for Mon- Sat and 2x for sun and bank holidays.

Job Description:

As an Electrician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the electrical systems in a Hospital in West Brom are too a high standard. You will be responsible for performing a range of electrical maintenance tasks, including reactive maintenance and repair work. This role requires a keen eye for detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and excellent customer service skills.Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspections, testing, and servicing of electrical installations and systems.
• Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance tasks, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard.
• Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, diagnosing and repairing faults efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant electrical regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work carried out, including job sheets and compliance certificates.
• May be some painting and plastering repairs you will need to put your hand too.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as an Electrician, preferably in a residential domestic, maintenance setting.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installations, and repairs.
• Relevant qualifications, such as NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, City & Guilds 18th Edition, or equivalent.
• Valid ECS card.
• 2391 Inspection and Testing
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
