A family-oriented childcare centre in Geelong, Victoria, is seeking the next inspirational leadership group for their service. Through strategies such as role modeling, coaching, and mentoring our amazing educators, you will collaboratively evolve their practice, documentation, inquiry, and critical reflection to positively impact the children’s learning.
Job Description:
- Meeting ‘The Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority (ACECQA)’ role of the Educational Leader
- Establish ACECQA Quality framework in the centre.
- Train, motivate and mentor educators to achieve the best learning outcomes for children.
- lead the preparation of materials and equipment to support children’s learning and development
- provide experiences to support children’s play and learning
- Prepare and implement Educational Program
- be responsible for ensuring a safe environment is maintained for both staff and children.
- be responsible, in consultation with the Director for the preparation, implementation and evaluation of a developmentally appropriate program for individual children or groups.
- liaise with families.
The successful candidate will:
- Must have a ECT qualification approved by Victorian Institute of Teaching (vit.vic.edu.au)
- have a minimum of three years full time (or part time equivalent) experience in Australia
- be available to work fulltime;
