Our company requires highly skilled Knitting Technicians to optimise the efficiency of our plant and equipment. The role will be reporting to the Plant Manager.
We are looking for applicants to join our team with high levels of experience as a technician on WEFT or WARP knitting machines. Experience with manufacturing of hosiery such as socks or compression stockings would be highly desirable..
Your New Role:
Our company requires a highly skilled Textile Technician/Mechanic to optimise the efficiency of our plant and equipment.
Reporting to the Plant Manager, your new role will involve:
- Diagnosing and rectifying of fabric defects or knitting machine breakdowns
- Knitting machine set up and changeover to different or new products
- Knitting machine experience is essential
- Conducting preventative maintenance and machine overhauls
- Optimisation of products for improved output, product quality and life of parts
- Maintaining detailed and accurate records of works completed
- Assisting the research and development team with set up and manufacture of new products
- Adherence to HACCP, GMP, Work Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental standards
