Job Summary
As an RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care standards. You will also educate patients and their families on managing their illness or injury, including post-treatment home care and medication administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Patient Education: Teach patients and families about illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
- Critical Thinking: Use your skills to assess and evaluate patients’ physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
- Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team, adhering to established nursing care standards.
- Patient-Centered Care: Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment.
- Ongoing Evaluation: Continuously evaluate patients’ responses and adjust care plans as necessary.
- Safety and Quality: Participate in activities that enhance safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
- Professional Development: Engage in lifelong learning and professional development.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing
- Proficiency in English and successful completion of IELTS assessment
- Registered with NCLEX before starting the position
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) certification
- Certification or license in the area of expertise
