Warehouse Operative Needed at Draeger (UK) with Visa Sponsorship

About the role

  • All employees have a responsibility to comply with the Integrated Management System (IMS) and minimise any impact on the environment whilst carrying out their duties.
  • Unpacking checking and putting away inbound deliveries/informing recipients they have arrived via the booking in system.
  • Booking in items for repair, and checking all relevant accompanying forms are completed and correct.
  • Logging errors on incoming goods in the relevant system
  • Running weekly fire alarm tests and logging outcome with Facilities
  • Preparing and dispatching items following internal processes.
  • Ensuring paperwork is complete and correct for outgoing items, including export and dangerous goods paperwork.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Undergo necessary training in order to fulfil all duties.
  • Waste management (in line with regulations) of local waste stored in warehouse.
  • This role will be part time and used to support cover for team absence – a willingness to work different hours during periods of team absence is essential – if additional hours are required these will be reimbursed at the standard rate.
  • Maintaining overview of pool cars in case of team absence
  • Undertake any other duties and projects in order to meet personal, team and organizational objectives.
  • This role is a 20-hour contract working Monday – Friday 12.30pm – 4.30pm also covering morning shifts when staff holidays.

Your Qualifications

 Role Requirements

Education/Qualifications

  • Educated to Secondary Education level or equivalent commercial experience.

Related Experience 

  • SAP (desirable)
  • Dangerous goods awareness for road, air and sea transport (desirable)

Skills, Special Competencies

  • Polite, friendly and assertive manner
  • Good organisational skills
  • IT literate with telephone skills
  • Ability to organise/prioritise to the benefit of internal/external customers
  • Manual Handling
  • CRM (desirable)
  • Reliable
  • Eye for accuracy
