by We are currently seeking experienced construction Labourers and utility locators for long term opportunities in Perth.
About the role:
- $32 per hour + penalties.
- Yard based in Wangara.
- Monday to Friday – 10-hour days.
- Sites based all over the Perth metro.
- Parking is available on-site in Wangara.
- Possibility of occasional night shifts or regional work as required.
- Ongoing, temp to perm opportunities for the right candidate.
- Weekly pay.
- ASAP start.
Job Scope:
- Working for a WA owned and operated company that specialise in service location.
- Operating vacuum trucks.
- Assisting with Pipe/Cable locating.
- Additional tasks may include but not limited to digging, backfilling, marking out services.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in labouring and/or pipe/cable locating.
- Current WA C class Drivers Licence – MR licence and above, desirable.
- White card.
- Strong mechanical and/or electrical understanding – desirable.
- Experience in operating vacuum units – desirable but not essential, training provided.
- PC literacy – using operating software on phones, ipads, tablets, and laptops
- Basic Microsoft office skills (word, Excel and Outlook)
- Reliability – Due to the sometimes urgent and critical nature of the work, a reliable employee is essential.
